Drill 11 - The Secret to Dominating Groundstrokes: Hit at the Top of the Bounce

Few shots in pickleball are more satisfying than a flat, powerful, fully coiled forehand.

I love everything about it—the sound, the feel, the follow-through, even the feedback from the paddle as the ball takes flight.

The Drive

To maximize power, you want to strike the ball at the top of its bounce.
If the bounce is high enough, you can even drive downward for max effect and depth.

In this video, we’ll walk you through a drill that helps you groove that timing—perfect for both 3rd shot drives and mid-court attacks.
